Kronos as a knight in Medieval England serving under Ramirez who was its current King. Although he appeared to be loyal and a good friend he secretly was constantly undermining his kingdom. He gave information to Ramirez’s enemy and former knight Maligant and kept the queen’s affair with another knight of the round table secret until the right moment.

Like Connor and Duncan, Ramirez also had a first love. Before the game, immortality, civilizations rising and falling, The Masamune, The Kurgan, Connor, and a life he could never have conceived of. It’s been said that his last thoughts were of her and the hope he may see her again.

Zachary Blaine fighting against the colonials in The American Revolution as a calvary commander named William Tavington. During the Battle of Cowpens he ended up in a duel with presumably was another immortal and nearly beheaded him in front of everyone. Luckily if this was an immortal he not only turned the fight around but also recognized he could not behead Blaine in those circumstances or it would cause quite a commotion to say the least lol.

Matthew McCormick meeting Cassandra in the American West who was in pursuit of her ancient enemy Kronos now known as Melvin Koren. Though she told him her story and though he tried to persuade her to let go of the past he knew he was being hypocritical given his current pursuit of Carl Robinson. He would keep an eye out for this ancient evil immortal because regardless what he did then his kind of evil must not be allowed to continue. She grew to admire him and perhaps because he reminded her of that boy she had met long ago in Donan Woods.

John Garrick as a young immortal met a young man who claimed to have apprenticed to the greatest sorcerer on Earth. Garrick believed him to be a thrifter or con artist, skeptically asked him to show him what he’d learned but this would have disastrous consequences for Garrick even if he didn’t know it.

In showing his power it unlocked Garrick’s latent potential for vision and foresight. Garrick was overjoyed but the apprentice was afraid for him and warned him the backlash for him would be huge. The apprentice had been a dedicated student for years before his power came to light but Garrick has had no training in the arcane arts. He warns him he will have no control over his new power and it may consume him but Garrick parts ways with him and thanks him for this new gift. The apprentice knows though this will be a curse not a gift and learned a new lesson that day. “You should not use magic you do not understand.”

Damon Case was in America during WW2 and decided to serve as an army doctor because he had decided over time that combat should be a holy duty for immortals when possible. Also he had served in The Knights of St. John in the siege of Malta and knew his healing skills would be of use.

While interviewing the enlistees he spoke with a young man who was not fit to be a soldier and while he doubted his body, he did not doubt his courage. He went to have a word with a German scientist who had recently joined the American cause who professed to have a special serum that could help someone like this “Steve Rogers”.

Cory Raines in the old west doing something familiar. Enticing a beautiful woman to participate in one of his schemes to what else...help out the kids🤷‍♂️. My guess is she either already knows about his condition and is playing along or is about to get a big surprise when he gets up.

Graham Ashe in his most humble beginnings, as a shepherd in Troy mastering one of the most primitive weapons, a sling. Probably had no comprehension of the mighty walls of Troy being breached much less becoming immortal and being one of the great swordmasters from long before and long after the birth of Christ. Great masters came from his tutelage and I’m sure he’d be proud that Duncan Macleod continues his legacy. It all began with a shepherd and his sling.

He had been a proud warrior and noble lord throughout his immortal life. His friends spoke very highly of him and even his enemies respected him even if begrudgingly. The hallucinations started small so no one thought much of it until he screamed the name Mordred. Mordred was his greatest and most hated enemy and he felt no greater accomplishment than ridding the world of his evil.

His friends wondered why he couldn’t let him go he’s dead and gone forever. When his wife tried to help him he pulled her close turned her in the direction he was facing. She was in shock when she saw...nothing. She tried to reason with him but he banished her and everyone from his castle because only he could and would face this evil. For years no one had seen him leave but heard endless screams and yells like the battle of Armageddon was being waged in those halls.

One day Lord Timothy rode his horse outside but everyone was gone and who could blame them. He left a message in his castle hall saying how sorry he was and that he wouldn’t be a burden anymore. What he didn’t know was they didn’t leave him...they were dead. His good friends were killed under mysterious circumstances and buried so even in defeat this demon he battled from within had the last laugh.

He had tracked Darius here to the crusades, finally he could catch him off Holy Ground and make him pay for killing his friend and mentor Emrys. On the way he met an immortal calling himself Timothy who professed to defeating Ahriman without the need of a sword. That name was familiar to him Emrys had mentioned having defeating him so he thought must have been an immortal with the same name.

When he finally found Darius in a library he realized he was not the man he thought he’d be. Darius was not afraid of even him who was known as a mighty warrior. Whatever part of Emrys still lives obviously lived in Darius and he realized the true nature of this “Ahriman”. He would need to fought again and he would be the one to lead the immortals against him. He would commit himself further than Darius and Emrys ever did though he would walk the world weaponless and humble not from the safety of Holy Ground. His message of peace and that “war never changes” so we will would go to every corner of the land. He would approach this with the same zeal and strength he did his former life and the immortals would face Ahriman as a united front.

Soon after Sendaro became immortal and learned enough of what he needed to know he immediately seized and enjoyed his new life. He joined an expedition to seek the fabled cities of gold and sought not only the riches but the fame and glory that came with such a discovery. He met a woman who he fell in love with and although their love was genuine he forgot that which would come of it. She ultimately succumbed to her mortality and he of course was crushed. Perhaps this is what lead to his obsessive and possessive nature later on with Grace someone who he could stay with forever.

To me becoming immortal is not just learning how to use a sword but taking time to understand what being one is. Contemplation would be needed to truly embrace this new life you’ve been given and understanding the great things that come with it and those that you’ll have to give up. Having a good teacher is crucial to this as Connor had Ramirez to make him understand this.

Gregor’s life as a doctor had ended with his death at the hands of a heartbroken father. A couple years later he had learned of his friend and student Alec Hill having lost his wife at the hands of Gerard Kragen. Gregor was no avenging hero but he thought he would help Alec and Macleod track him down.

He asked several people in the nearby towns but was either met with outright denying of knowing Kragen or hostility upon even asking of him. Clearly people were either bribed or intimidated by him or possible acquaintances. Ultimately he ends up being “killed” by one of them and is disgusted that these mortals would go so far to protect this murderer. Perhaps more of a reason he began to distance himself from mankind.

Grayson had been doing business in California as a Don when he happened upon a local myth come to life...Zorro. He suspected he may be immortal but he had gotten close enough to see for sure he wasn’t which was disappointing he would have been a most worthy opponent. Maybe if he wasn’t immortal perhaps he had been trained by one but who? Something about him reminded him of Ramirez but he knew he could not be behind this for obvious reasons.

Korolus was in the area as well but he had grown quite mad ever since his relationship with that Lenora woman and was no longer worthy of his attention. Grayson had decided he would train his own mortal pupil to defeat this mysterious immortals pupil, an interesting proposition to say the least. Defeating Zorro himself would be no challenge and he respected Zorro’s reputation too much to see him merely snuffed out. This would be more of a mental game which he enjoyed from time to time.

John Garrick was living alone in the new world in the mid 1700s when he met the immortal child Kenneth. Though he was mentally disturbed he took pity on the seemingly innocent child cursed with immortality before maturity. Kenneth helped bring a sense of peace to Garrick’s life and John hoped to help Kenneth find a place in the world that saw fit to curse them both.

Native warriors attacked John’s cabin seeing his statue carvings as evil and he told Kenneth to run for it while he tried to fight them off. Ultimately John was “killed” and his statues destroyed while Kenneth escaped to find another victim because he thought one of them was going to take his head. While heartbroken at the loss of Kenneth, we all know his attackers just saved his head from this conman. He moved on afterward knowing he was really asking for trouble sticking around after the natives believed this evil stone carver to be dead.

Brian Cullen and Matthew McCormick had finally decided to end their ongoing rivalry. They decided to meet and end it one way or another, though it wasn't a grudge by any means merely a case of who was the best. Neither had anything but respect and admiration for the other but just needed to know who was better between the two. Matthew offered Brian a drink and they talked like old friends would, about their lives, current professions, and loved ones lost over the years.

There were many great swordsmen throughout the centuries to be sure and none of them could be scoffed at. Graham Ashe, Ramirez, Hans Kirschner, Consone, May-Ling, the MacLeods, Martin Hyde, Kalas, Haresh Clay, Kurgan, Grayson, Rebecca, Ceirdwyn who was McCormick’s own teacher, but none quite on the same level as them in terms of skill. They never had to hunt anyone save out of a grudge or justice, they had more than enough challengers always around the corner though Cullen had more by far.

Matthew asked Brian, "You sure you are up for this, old friend?"
"Why wouldn't I be, I'm the great Brian Cullen."
"That you are," he said, "but how many glasses have you had since we started talking?"
Brian looked horrified and pale for a moment replying, "You know, don't you?"
                                  "About fifteen," he replied.
Brian, annoyed, said, "That's not what I meant.”
But before he could finish Matthew said, "I know what you meant, Brian. If we are to settle this between us, I would have you at your best, do you understand? Whatever has pushed you to this point, I know you can overcome it because as you said, you are the great Brian Cullen. I will not say I defeated the great Cullen in the shadow of his glory, I want you at your peak and I will give you my best and nothing less."

After a few minutes they hugged and shook hands, hoping the next time they saw each other they could finally settle who was better. If only Duncan Macleod could've gotten through to Cullen, maybe they could’ve finally settled it.

The witch Cassandra had told him where to find him. Nakano couldn’t believe this “Cimmerian” as he called himself had the gall to challenge the demon sorcerer Thulsa Doom. He knew Doom was like him, an immortal, and he learned his own magic from Doom for he was his teacher. They had a falling out many years ago because of Doom’s ambition for world conquest and Nakano would not be a part of such a thing. Though for a mortal man to believe he could defeat him was absurd, Nakano himself would not dare try, his sorcery was nowhere on the level of Thulsa.

Listening to his story though he believed The Cimmerian would go through with it with his help or not. For if Doom was not stopped, he would have dominion over all life on this Earth even until the ending of the world having won the prize or not. He did have the advantage of not being able to be sensed by Doom, and Doom was arrogant and believed himself invincible though for good reason. He had mastered all forms of magic be it shapeshifting, hypnotism, and the art of illusion which Nakano had yet to perfect. Cassandra dabbled in all three forms but Nakano aimed to be a master of one.

Thulsa was never much of a swordsman beyond the basics and this Cimmerian’s skills rivaled even some immortals. Perhaps if he could get close enough undetected maybe Doom would try hypnotism which Nakano had an answer to. He told him go at night and get as close as possible, don’t look directly into his eyes, and have these in your ears. Candle wax hopefully would be enough and above all sever his head. The Cimmerian did just that but Doom's power was greater than even Nakano thought. Even unable to hear he could still feel some of his power but he snapped himself free for a moment and struck! Doom couldn’t believe his power and life were to be ended by a mere mortal and then he felt no more. The Cimmerian held his head up and it was over. His people saw he was no god nor all-powerful.

When he returned, Nakano thought he was seeing an illusion, he felt truly humbled for the first time in his life. Still young for an immortal, he realized he had much to learn and pledged himself to accompany the Cimmerian on his quests for as long as he lived. Of course the Cimmerian assumed he meant as long as Nakano lived but perhaps Nakano would tell him one day. A pity Doom’s quickening was lost, perhaps if Nakano could’ve done it he could’ve absorbed his powers but no, he would dedicate himself to mastering his abilities on his own no matter how long it took. Perhaps it was a form of punishment for him not being able to show courage when a mere mortal would.

It wasn’t working anymore, his soldiers were beginning to notice he wasn’t as old as he appeared. Constantine was never the youngest-looking Immortal, so it made it a little easier to cosmetically age himself. Shaving the hair on top off and using dye on what was left made him look an old man, but every so often his men would tease him by pointing out stubble that he'd missed or quietly passing him some hair dye so it was clear they weren’t buying it. It didn’t help that he would occasionally drill with them, and they wondered how he moved and fought like a man half his age. He would make the excuse it was all due to his extraordinarily made sword “Heartsbane”, but no one really believed him.

He could just end this life and come back as a long-lost son which he’d done many times, but then he’d have to rise up the ranks again. The Mongols were invading and he needed to be in a leadership role when they came. He believed Grayson and Callestina must be behind it, wanting to finish the job Darius started many centuries ago. He considered asking Darius for help, but respected his stance on these matters now, though he believed he would help if asked. Maybe that was just hard for him, asking the man who had helped destroy Rome to now save Europe. Maybe now he was beginning to understand Nefertiri’s anger all those years ago. He’d always wondered what became of her; was she still alive somewhere?

Once he realized the Mongol invasion wasn’t going to happen, he found himself relieved Grayson and Callestina had failed. He hadn’t been looking forward to the battles to come. He took it as a sign he’d made history for too long; maybe it was time to just start living and prove to himself he was more than just a soldier or battlefield commander. His first stop was to have a heart-to-heart talk with Darius, though doubtful he would admit that he had considered asking him for help. He was always a stubborn man.

David Keogh, some years after his rejection in Philadelphia, with the family that he always wanted. Unfortunately, this ended because she learned of his immortality and said she never wanted to see him again. Though not because of his immortality, but because he had convinced her that she was the one who couldn’t bear children of her own. Perhaps this is why he told Jill Pelentay the truth, because relationships built on lies can quickly fall apart.

Morgan D’Estang took a liking to this new “airplane” invention and when WW1 erupted he was determined to become an excellent pilot. He was tempted by Xavier’s offer to help him on the ground ambushing small squads and units with his trademark gas, but he wanted to make his own reputation in this war. These planes were so new and exciting and really made him feel like a young man again. It made him wonder what it was like to be the first to ride a horse.

Fighting for the German side was convenient because now he got to wage war against England, the country that kept him from securing his family estate, and France, where his family had betrayed him. He chose to paint his plane red to stand out despite his fellow pilots' criticism against it because they of course did not know his secret. He even took a liking to the name he’d been given, The Red Baron. The battlefields of Europe will soon feel his wrath.

May Ling was fighting to overthrow the evil Daimyo Norinaga when she came across the most bizarre thing she’d ever seen. The Japanese called them Kappa, perhaps they were foreign warriors with strange armor, but whatever they were they cared for and protected the children of her small village, which made them friends. Neither May Ling nor the four of them were natives of this land but they were determined to see it free. She had trouble understanding them at times because, although she spoke English, they spoke a different variant to say the least. One of them had even taking a shining to her, though May Ling loved the Daimyo’s idealistic son who was determined to make his father walk the path of virtue. She felt guilty though because she doubted Kenshin would still love her if she told him the truth about herself.

He’d made a practice of crushing enemy prisoners' heads with his bare hands. Even against an enemy like the Nazis this was frowned upon, not that it mattered to Kern; he did what he wanted when he wanted. He was sentenced to hang, and though he knew he’d live, this “suicidal” mission he was offered sounded fun and if it’d save him the noose at the same time why not? He was never much of a team player but he only had to wait until the moment came to snap his fellow condemned convicts like tooth picks. (By the way can anyone find any pictures of this movie with Tex Cobb pictured with his fellow convicts?

Grace Chandel was in Germany when the Hitler movement first began. A boy she had watched grow up found himself caught between two worlds, the Nazis and rebellious swing kids. She realized she could not just stand by and watch, so when Duncan MacLeod and Ingrid Henning made their allegiances known, she told them she would help in any way she could. She asked though if they could get people like her young friend out of the country, but he refused and joined their fight.
