Not bad at all. A lot of it is Rachel getting sweated by some cops, really sweated. That was probably the most entertaining part of the issue.

Also, we get Connor confronting Hooke in 1955 and most of a sword fight (I think?).

We now know that no, that was no Watcher or Watcher-like person in #1. It was just an old cop who's been watching funny business with MacLeod and Vasilek for a very long time.

Yup -- this series seems to be ignoring the TV universe's continuity, though it's not expressly going out of its way to contradict it either, FWIW. I appreciate that.
