      It's an utter shame that the movie ran into budgetary problems. Even if the planet Zeist is an eye-rolling concept on paper, it might have won people over a bit more if it had been properly realized. The vague cave settings for the villains just didn't cut it. Then again, the TV series would've had to drop Zeist for budgetary reasons either way, so I doubt that we'd be seeing this much of this Heavy Metal-esque world beyond the second film.

      Still, if IDW could ever get the rights to adapt the original script into a full-blown cyberpunk adventure, I'd be all for it.

        Great stuff but does the original film have any concept art.....there is concept art for the cancelled videogame but weird enough nothing for the movies
