What creative way would you disguise an original actors age to use them in a cameo in a new spin off series? I would use creative costuming, makeup and lighting to disguise the actors current age. The flashback could take place during a masked ball. Our favorite characters could be played by the original actors with their costumes hiding just enough of their features. The fans would recognize them from their voices as well as their mannerisms and features like eyes, chin, etc. Another method is to use Dennis Berry's favorite technique and bring in the smoke machines to create fog to blur the faces. The action could be lit to create silhouettes.

Make up and cheap digital touch ups would suffice on TV. With a theatrical budget, complete digimasking would be an option, as that technology has come a long way, thanks to Disney's efforts in recent years to deage actors and recreate dead ones. Of course, Deep Fakes are using a simpler, cheaper, digimasking method that could be used, as well, though the quality isn't quite on par with Hollywood, so it may need a few more years to advance.
