    Answer to your question:

"Why does the sun come up, umm?' and 'are the stars just pinholes in the curtain of night?'.

'Who knows? But what I do know is because you were born different, men will fear you. Try to drive you away...like the people of your village.'

Next question; What is the very last word uttered on screen at the end of the first Highlander film?
I love that dialog by Ramirez!

Answer: Ramirez's spirit remnant within Connor spoke the final words in the movie. He said, "You have power beyond imagination. Use it well my friend, don't lose your head."

    Next Question:

Connor is walking away from the MacLeod castle after he is banished. The scene changes to the Moon rising over the mountains and then fades into a close-up of Connor's face. Then, Connor's face morphs into another face as the setting returns to the present in New York City. Whose face replaces Connor's?

      Mona Lisa.

What fruit can be seen during the 'love making' scene between Connor and Heather?

Answer: There is a green apple on the plate of lunch that Heather brought for Connor. Now, here is something funny about your question. I initially misread or misremembered the question and thought you were talking about the 'love making' scene between Connor and Brenda. I watched that scene a number of times looking for any sign of fruit. Then it occurred to me that outside the bedroom window was the New York City or "Big Apple" skyline. That was going to be my answer until I read your question again. Interesting coincidence that both scenes have apples in them!

Next Question: After the scene where Bedsoe eats the bag of Doritos, Connor and Rachel are talking in front of a big window at the antiques store with the city nightscape behind them. Rachel reaches toward Connor and does something with her hands. What does she do?

Answer: I have to be honest here and without Googling I'm about 95% sure that Rachel touches Connor's face?

Next question; during the bar scene (One Year of Love is playing) - how many people are in the bar? Including the bartender?

The scene you are thinking of, in which Rachel touches Connor's face, occurs several minutes after the one that my question is about. Let me help out with a link to the movie that I use when I am online. This link is to the director's cut and includes the scene in my question:

              The links dead unfortunately.

If you're talking about the Directors Cut then I think the scene you're referring to is just before the WW2 scene. We European's always had the WW2 scene, so I'll take a stab at this:

Rachel puts her hands out and appears to put a knot in Connor's tie. Much like a caring mother would do with her young child before their first day at school....

Funnily enough I've never really noticed what Rachel does during this scene. It's amazing what you pick up when you re-watch a film that you've probably seen over hundred times!

Hmmm, the link is still working for me. I wonder if your internet in England does not allow the link to be active for some reason?

Yes, the scene is just before the WW2 scene. You got the answer just right about Rachel fixing Connor's tie. Nice analogy about the mother with her child.

Ok, here is my answer to your question: I see four people in the bar scene. The bartender, Connor, and Brenda are easily visible. To the extreme right of the screen, I see the right arm of a person sitting at a table. This person is moving just a bit as the scene progresses and the arm appears to be bare, so I think it is a woman. I have never noticed this before! I have seen the movie many times too and I have also been surprised by the little details that I never noticed.

Next Question: When was the last time that Connor and Kastagir had a party?

Yeah, the link is probably not working due to being region blocked.

In all honesty I'd have to go back and watch the bar scene. If you watch the Blu-Ray or UHD version of Highlander I think its easier to make out how many people are in the bar. But yeah, I think there's around four people in that scene - Bartender, Brenda, Connor and someone sat down at a table.

Connor and Kastigar last had a party in 1783. So you're talking 202 years ago by the time The Gathering takes place in 1985

Next question; how many beheadings are there in HIghlander? Now this is a two-parter. I'll accept the easy answer based on what is visually shown but what I'm really looking for is the exact number of beheadings. So beheadings that might be referenced in the film or even cut entirely from the film.

                    Correct about the party.

Ok, in answer to your question about the total number of beheadings in the movie (shown, referenced, or deleted scene), I drew from your earlier post #29 to help me out. So, I have a total of 6 beheadings as follows:

                    Yung Dol Kim
                    Osta Vasilek
                    Iman Fasil
                    Ramirez
                    Kastagir
                    Kurgan

Next Question: When Connor saw the Kurgan for the first time, what did he say?

'Mother of God!' - a quote I use often

Next Question: What does Ramirez appear to be doing just before the Kurgan decapitates him?

Ramirez spits in the Kurgan's face.

Next Question: When Connor comes to Brenda's apartment for dinner, she lets him in, and after a brief exchange of polite words, she excuses herself to her bedroom to get her earrings. She looks at herself in the mirror and asks herself a question. What did she ask?

I remembered it! "Do you know what you're doing?" Wait, did it have the Do?

Ok Dragon, I finally saw what you were looking for. I had to go frame by frame right before the decapitation. For a split second, the lightning illuminated Ramirez's hands. His hands were together in a posture of prayer. I watched the scene several times at normal speed and I didn't see this one frame at all! Yet again, a detail that I never knew about.

Well spotted! And if you look closely, Ramirez's hands drop from his chest area just after his head leaves his body, further depicting that he was in a position of prayer. It's quite gruesome but an awesome little bit of detail!

Did we have a 'next question?'. I don't think we did - here goes. Ramirez appears to have two different coloured scabbards/saya's for his Masamune Katana - what two colours are they?

When Ramirez first encountered Connor and Heather, his scabbard looked brown as he sat atop his horse wearing his "Spanish Peacock" cape. At the fair, Ramirez was just wearing his red suit and his scabbard also appeared to be red.

Next Question: What is Russell Nash's middle name?

                                    Russell Edwin Nash, I think.

Regarding the scabbard colour - look closely at the scene where Ramirez is sat at the table with Heather.

                                      Edwin is correct.

I looked at the scene with Ramirez and Heather. The katana is lying on the table in its scabbard next to Ramirez. The color of the scabbard looks black, but the scene is very dark. So, I wonder if dark brown might appear to be black under these lighting conditions? However, I did not consider this scene when I said brown and red. What do you think, could there be three different colors?

I'd say black is correct. You can get a better definition of the scabbard colour if you watch the UHD version of Highlander.

Time for another question? How many words are spoken during the Fasil duel? By words I mean coherent language, not exclamations like 'ahh!'

                                          Fasil...wait!
That line has always interested me. Were they friend in the past? Is it for the audience?
It was the subject of another discussion here:
                                          http://www.highlander-community.com/...421-fasil-wait

To answer your question more precisely, here are the words:
                                          Fasil: MacLeod!
                                          Connor: Fasil...wait!
                                          Connor: All right!

That's all, not very talkative people these Immortals.

Now my questions, in this same scene.

As we are in game and humor:
At some point Connor loses his sword and uses a stick to face Fasil. What is the stick made of?
That's a joke we laughed about with a friend. We discovered it on the Blu-Ray disc, maybe it had more fps.

More seriously: there is another graffiti in the parking, which I think is linked to the "Big One" you discussed in a previous guess.
                                          Can you find it?

                                            Fasil...wait!
That line has always interested me. Were they friend in the past? Is it for the audience?
It was the subject of another discussion here:
                                            http://www.highlander-community.com/...421-fasil-wait

To answer your question more precisely, here are the words:
                                            Fasil: MacLeod!
                                            Connor: Fasil...wait!
                                            Connor: All right!

That's all, not very talkative people these Immortals.

Now my questions, in this same scene.

As we are in game and humor:
At some point Connor loses his sword and uses a stick to face Fasil. What is the stick made of?
That's a joke we laughed about with a friend. We discovered it on the Blu-Ray disc, maybe it had more fps.

More seriously: there is another graffiti in the parking, which I think is linked to the "Big One" you discussed in a previous guess.
                                            Can you find it?
The stick was a metal bar. Metal bars seem to be MacLeods best friend at times!

The graffiti question...I'll need to go back and rewatch that scene.

Before Fasil appears, the letters "E" and "N" in silver paint, with the "E" above the "N", are visible on a wall as Connor walks past. After "The Big" appears on a column, there is another column behind Connor that appears to have a star shape sprayed on it. Right after this, Fasil slips into frame behind Connor. After Fasil takes his first swing at Connor, the word "The" appears on a column. There is something below this word, but I can't make it out. A few moments later, there appears to be an upside down arrowhead shape sprayed on a column. I believe this shape appeared before on the same column, but at a greater distance and more difficult to make out. A few moments after this, the partial word "Wil" sprayed in cursive appears on a column. There may be more to this word, but the bottom of the screen cuts it off. A few moments later, in a wider shot, the word portion "Wil" is seen expanded to "Wilds". There is a bit more, but I can't make it out. A bit later, Fazil runs past a couple of snake-like squiggles on columns as Connor chases him. A few seconds later, the silver "E" and "N" appear again with an "O" beneath the "N" and a silver "G" just to the right of them with possibly an "A" beneath the "G". After this, the sprinklers go off making the scene very misty and more difficult to make out details. The scene continues until the Quickening, but I didn't see any more graffiti until Connor hides his Katana up high. Then the name "Tommy" appears on a column as Connor runs away.

I have no idea if any of these other graffiti are linked to "Big One". I still have never seen "The Big One" fully in frame.

Next Question: As the MacLeods march off to battle behind the priest on the stone bridge, there are things hanging on either side of the bridge. What are they?

Actually it's a plastic metal bar! When Connor grabs it you may see it bends!
We have found that detail on the Blu-Ray version.
I will try to attach a picture of it but it's more visible in action.

What a big work Cyrus, great job!

It's indeed on the F10 column. "E", "N"... stand for ENOLA GAY. You can see it better when Connor runs to hit Fasil after the sprinkler started. Enola Gay is the name of the bomber that dropped the bomb on Hiroshima at the end of WWII.
So I see a link with "The Big One". The Big One has many meanings including being a nickname for World War II:
                                                https://www.quora.com/Why-was-World-...ed-The-Big-One

About the "wild style" (F13 column), it's a reference to a form of graffiti trend that started in New York in the 70s. You can also see this graffiti when Connor goes back for his sword before the bar scene.
Actually the parking scene wasn't shot in Madison Square Garden basement, nor in NY but somewhere in London!

Now about your question. What is hanging on the sides of the bridge? I knew about the skeletons in the crow's cages but I don't think I had noticed the dead birds hanging also on the gibbets. That may have some kind of signification? To ensure that the torture would work?

Here is my question: in the market scene (with Connor Heather and Ramírez), who are fighting on the ring?

I'd argue that the metal bar may appear to be plastic, but surely that's just because it's a prop? The sound it makes certainly sounds like metal on metal (to quote the band, Anvil)

There are quite a few quirky details in Highlander. Some of which I may use for future questions...

It was filmed at Earls Court, London, UK. The car park has since been demolished.

Market scene - the fighters are two male brawlers. I'm not sure if you're looking for more. I don't know who the actors are called etc. I just remember from memory its two men beating the crap out of each other.
