It's indeed on the F10 column. "E", "N"... stand for ENOLA GAY. You can see it better when Connor runs to hit Fasil after the sprinkler started. Enola Gay is the name of the bomber that dropped the bomb on Hiroshima at the end of WWII.
So I see a link with "The Big One". The Big One has many meanings including being a nickname for World War II:

About the "wild style" (F13 column), it's a reference to a form of graffiti trend that started in New York in the 70s. You can also see this graffiti when Connor goes back for his sword before the bar scene.
Actually the parking scene wasn't shot in Madison Square Garden basement, nor in NY but somewhere in London!

Now about your question. What is hanging on the sides of the bridge? I knew about the skeletons in the crow's cages but I don't think I had noticed the dead birds hanging also on the gibbets. That may have some kind of signification? To ensure that the torture would work?

ENOLA GAY is interesting. I never would have guessed that, even though I am very familiar with the plane and the bomb it dropped.

You got it with the skeletons in the cages. I didn't even notice the dead crows hanging near several of the cages! I know that crows like to eat dead bodies, especially the eyes, but why would they need to be tied up near a dead body? I have no understanding of that.

I looked again at the market scene. Like Dragon, I have no idea who the two guys fighting in the ring are. They are just two big guys clubbing each other with their fists. Maybe an expert in Scottish tartans could tell which clan they are from.

In considering how many times the Kurgan stabs someone, I am including just scenes from the movie, not outtakes. I counted only three stabbings:

Connor is stabbed by the Kurgan during the 1536 battle between the MacLeods and the Frasers.

The Kurgan stabs Ramirez on the stairs of Connor's wrecked tower before taking his head.

The ex-Marine with the machine gun is stabbed after the Kurgan takes Kastigir's head. When the two detectives visit the gutted man in the hospital, they call him Matunas (from IMDB the character's name is Kirk Matunas).

Next Question: When Connor and Kastigir meet on the bridge in Central Park, there is a boat passing slowly under the bridge. What color is the boat?

Correct, stab victims are indeed Connor, Ramirez and Matunas.

I had in my head that the boat was blue. I just checked the scene and yes, it’s a blue boat under Bow Bridge. On the subject of that rowing boat, I remember someone once saying wouldn’t it be cool if the person in the boat was a Watcher?

Next question; during the final Quickening when Kurgan is killed, just before Connor leaves the ground he drops his katana. Have a look closely, what happens to the katana when it lands?

Market scene - the fighters are two male brawlers. I'm not sure if you're looking for more. I don't know who the actors are called etc. I just remember from memory its two men beating the crap out of each other.

I looked again at the market scene. Like Dragon, I have no idea who the two guys fighting in the ring are. They are just two big guys clubbing each other with their fists. Maybe an expert in Scottish tartans could tell which clan they are from.

Actually if you look at the flags above the ring you can recognize the flag of the Clan MacLeod and the flag of the Clan Fraser!
Sounds like: think twice before attacking or even killing someone today who could be your friend tomorrow.
Few years before they were fighting to death in the mud.
I see a link with the introduction scene: wrestling/sport today versus war on the battlefied "before". And still Connor likes both.
I remember in the TV series, Duncan kept on fighting on the battlefields because he used to be a fighter, knew nothing else as an occupation, until he met Darius...the Great

Wow, I've never noticed the flags above the ring. It never ceases to amaze me what can get missed despite the fact I've seen Highlander hundreds of times, lol

Correct. The dragon head flies off the end of the tsuka, or handle. It's a blooper which is very, very missable. The dragon head was actually a late modification to the sword prop in order to make the sword look more 'complete'. The brass looking screw which you see at the end of the handle was actually added to keep the dragon head in place.

Queen's 'Hammer to Fall' can be heard when Kirk Matanus, the Vietnam vet is cruising in his Firebird just before he encounters the back alley fight between The Kurgan and Kastigar. The actor who played Matanus is actually English and that scene was filmed in England, not in New York!

To be accurate (who knows who can read our conversation later), Matunas was played by Christopher Malcom who was Scottish/Canadian, borned in Aberdeen. Aberdeen is in the Lowlands, so Matunas is secretely a Lowlander
