I agree that Ward and D'Estaing would work well together. Problem is, D'Estaing is a poor fighter (as it comes to straight up fighting). I feel like he lacks good judgment and self-awareness. When he poisoned Duncan if he had just sat back and ate a sandwich for a moment he'd have taken Duncan. But he got cocky and killed. Fasil and Ashe are both too skilled and I think D'Estaing would get himself killed leaving Ward by himself, unfortunately.

This match is actually kind of close. Coventry and Kent are the two best. We've never really seen Coventry so by default I have to give Kent benefit of doubt. I don't see him as a passionate fighter but skilled. Coventry would actually probably beat him. Garrick is good though and Vladic doesn't seem a very confident fighter though he's got some age on him. I think him and Garrick could go either way. So what if Coventry is fighting Garrick and Kent is fighting Vladic? Gut tells me Coventry and Garrick. So that's my vote.

Tricky. I'm going with Deveraux and Clay though. I just don't think Keane is good enough, and Johnny K certainly isn't.

This rather depends. We don't really know Terence's capabilities as he was in a comedic episode and played for laughs. Also, Garrick can't use his powers for the same reason as everyone else. Kent seemed to be pretty good, though. I'm leaning towards Garrick and Kent as the better pair.

Aragorn, correct me if I'm wrong but in previous versions of this tournament we said that characters would feel compelled to fight, whether they were best friends/clansmen or in the case of The Messenger. If that's still in effect, I can't see Ingrid making enough of a difference to help Case against two tough, experienced guys like Messenger & Robinson. If we're saying that Messenger can indeed choose not to fight, I change my vote.
