Something about Kronos attracts Cahill, who switches his allegiance once again. Kronos is happy to accept, knowing that he also has Caspian and (theoretically) Methos in his back pocket as well. Ceirdwyn takes another critical hit.

Caspian takes a chunk out of Amanda's calf and she drops to her knees.

Elsewhere, people begin to pair off. Jin Ke challenges Gina, Constantine goes after Kyra, remembering her from a battle many years previous, and Bellian squares off on Corman. Darius tries to reason with Cahill, but he is watching Kronos. Darius is remembering a time long ago, to a day when he lead his armies across the continent. He swore he would not stop until he saw the ocean. He commanded strength and demanded respect. His were the mightiest warriors on the planet. And then he reached the gates of Paris.....

Kronos has cornered Methos. He knows Methos so well, just as Methos knows Kronos. Methos knows he cannot defeat Kronos and Kronos knows he cannot truly conquer humanity without Methos. The talk is deep and, for all the fear and loathing and misery he remembers, Kronos reminds Methos of the power they wielded. They were fear. They were pestilence, famine, war, and ..... Kronos reaches out and holds a dagger out to Methos.

Methos remember. He smiles. "Death."

"Come Brother. The time has come."

Mehos takes the dagger. He throws it and lands directly in the throat of Everett Bellian.

This is interesting because Duncan has both a lot of allies and a lot of enemies in the arena. Duncan would immediately want to go after Kronos but Xavier would be in his way. Though Xavier would probably also want to avoid fighting him now. Duncan comes into the fight and sees Kronos beheading Amanda and is immediately horrified. Corman is also simultaneously beheaded by Gina de Valicourt.

Hoo boy, Methos is in a real pickle now. He's tentatively sided with Kronos, but the Boy Scout just showed up. As always, he wants to go with a winner. But at this juncture it's too early to tell who that may be. Meanwhile, Xavier notices MacLeod across the way. Not yet, he thinks. He'll build up to it. Darius becomes his first target.
