Here are some custom duncan tsubas for use in upcoming sword projects.

the first is a raw casting copied from an antique edo period sukashi tsuba. it is reproduced in bronze.

The second is a 3d- printed resin tsuba from a custom sculpted file created in zbrush

the third is a hand-carved piece by Arcadia Workshop

That is a beautiful work ...
Will you use the 3D printed one on a project with a Katana or is it just for collection ?

the resin print needs clean up. i will make castings of it at a later time, for now it only exists as 3d printed prototypes in steel and also resin. i have mounted a few of the steel prints.

This is the original iron tsuba (left) next to the casting (right) with blackening applied.

This is a 3D printed steel tsuba from a scan (left), next to the antique (right). It's different from the resin print shown in the first post. Chemical patina.
