600-year-old sword found in bog in Poland
A 600-year-old medieval sword has been found in a bog in Poland. The 13th- or 14th-century sword is very well preserved, archaeologists say, and it's been sent to Warsaw for analysis and restoration.

That looks like it was a very nice sword in its day. 600 years isn't bad and the mud seems to have more or less preserved it. It loks like the metal was thinner towards the top judging by how it's corroded. Very nice find!
