Been a while since I bought one myself. Nice collection. And good to see you posting... on an actual HLBB no less! I get the meaning of that Phoenix graphic now.
I have a friend who built a display case for his sword collection. It was mounted on the wall in his rec room. Then he had a second wall built in front of it with lockable doors and safety glass. That way his collection could be displayed but locked away from the children. He said it was worth it to lose a foot wide strip in that room to be able to display the swords his family had collected over the decades. He also uses the display to teach the kids in his life about history.
I stumbled upon the old HLBB repeatedly in my search for a Kurgan sword... that's how I wound up here. The first photo I saw was of Blues standing with one in a long black coat, if memory serves.
