Given the medium and the strict standards of the time, Quentin would likely have recieved all the Jettators' quickenings and defeated Kortan, but he would not kill him. He would probably have offered him his life for his quickening, and recieved it as he had recieved the Jettators'. After that, Kortan would have been exiled, and Quentin would've given some half assed child friendly speach about freedom, and everyone would cheer, and then someone would make a joke and the credits would role. -
