Abbé Pierre and Darius

In light of the recent sexual abuse allegations regarding French roman catholic Abbe Pierre, founder of the Emmaus organisation in France, one can wonder about his Immortal counterpart, Darius, and the latter's shady past as a Gothic general before he kiiled the Holy Man of Paris. Who knows how many women he enslaved and abused in four hundred years of life before the Quickening which changed him ?

Was James Horton somehow convinced Darius never changed and this is the reason why he murdered him ?

I doubt that Horton cared one way or the other. He just wanted to exterminate Immortals.

Horton tended to target non-threatening Immortals first, so probably not.

Horton saw all Immortals are corrupted and a threat to mankind. He didn't believe in Darius redemption, no more than I believe in Kage redemption, truth be told.
