Liam O'Rourke trashes Corda. Corda tries to be cute and do something ... whatever, Liam is actually a seasoned immortal. Corda doesn't have a prayer.
VOTE: Liam O'Rourke in a landslide.

I vote for Liam O'Rourke as well, Corda is way more entertaining but it's unlikely O'Rourke wouldn't resist Corda's attempt at immortal taxidermy succesfully.

No clue who Renee Castel is. Is he in a show/movie/book? Never heard of him.

Given that I know ZERO about him, I'm going to support Jean Phillipe even though his arrogance wouldn't really allow him to beat anyone competent. My story is just that a fluke incident happens where Castel is injured by something unexpected and Jean Phillipe finds a way to take advantage.

I'd think that Renee Castel would win this easy but tying up a vote is no fun.

So with a fluke Jean Philipe de la Faye III wins from Renee Castel!

FMI, are these fights random? And is there a bracket or is it just two randomly chosen until one's left?

Yes, these fights are random. There is a bracket but I could randomise the second round as well.

This is a tremendous fight. I feel like Hyde is running around going on about wanting seasoned immortals; probably takes down someone Jin Ke is friendly with. Jin Ke finds out about it and hunts down Hyde. They have a fight and Hyde is a really good fighter and holds his own but I don't think he can take Jin Ke. VOTE: Jin Ke

Jin Ke takes this. Hyde is such an over-rated blow hard. If you look at some time lines from the Watcher Choronicles, neither Connor nor Segur were that seeeeaaaasoned when Hyde was hunting them. And quite honestly, neither was Duncan. Jin Ke will get very little from Hyde's Quickening. Hopefully, he won't get his over-inflated sense of self-worth.

I have no idea who Grover Crispin is. I am guessing someone from one of these lesser known Highlander-indy movies. But I know who Danny Cimoli is. And that is enough to know Crispin will win. He might learn some really cool card tricks from getting Danny's Quickening.

You guessed right. Grover Crispin is from Highlander: The Watcher and has insanely fast healing abilities.

                  • #37
Okay, Danny is doing his act when he gets 'that special feeling' and Grover is spotted scoping him out. He arranges his emergency illusion, prepped for just such an occasion, and calls Grover up on stage as his volunteer. Grover of course threatens him sotto voce, and Danny say's: not here not not, but later. Then Grover goes into the Box of Phantom Blades, and a horrible accident ensues, Danny is on the next plane to Marakesh. Grover is in the LV coroner's office sans head.

I have a rule against voting for people outside of the movies/shows but I feel like Danny Cimoli is basically an auto bye for almost anyone besides Sharon Collins. So the other guy gets my vote.

In a straight up fight Kell would win but I think MacReady wouldn't let it come to that.

He'll wait for Kell's gang to go grocery shopping and sets up his trap just outside Kell's safehouse.
