Okay, Gardner, my friend, i'm afraid your idea for the Hellfire Club and an ongoing adversary for the SIS sparked a little bit of inspiration in me! Lol

As such, I've kind of had the idea that the Hellfire Club wasn't an 18th century creation but one iteration of a pre-existing group who have been a thorn in the side of the SIS for centuries.
For me, Aldrich Monk is more of an interesting character in his own right if he has some kind of connection to Richeard of Mercia; so, what if he and Richeard were both students of Timothy of Gilliam, blood brothers in a sense, but something happened that created a rift that led to a rivalry and the creation of two opposing shadowy groups?

Here is my idea for the origin of the Hellfire Club and Aldrich Monk:

The various iterations of the Club dating from the Middle Ages to the present day:

BRIMSTONE BROTHERHOOD (the original Hellfire Club)
    FRATERNITATI FIERI
    IGNIS SCARI ("Fire Cult")
    BRIMSTONE LEAGUE
    BLACK FRIARS CLUB
HELLFIRE CLUB (18th Century to early 20th century)
INFERNUS CLAVA (early 20th century to 1999)
    BRIMSTONE (2000 - present)

    Aldrich Monk

Known aliases (to be added to current stats): Ailef of Deira (birth name),
    Aldrich the Monk

Born: 584, Kingdom of Deira, Northern England
First death: 616, Killed in battle by the River Ide fighting
for Raedwald of East Anglia, ally and protector of Edwin,
    soon-to-be-King of Deira
First teacher: Timothy of Gilliam, at this time one of King
    Raedwald's personal guards

635 - Timothy and Ailef are at the Battle of Hatfield Chase fighting with King Edwin of Deira in the army of
Northumbria. Richeard of Mercia dies his first death and is mentored by Timothy. Ailef and Richeard
become "brothers in blood and war".

645 - Richeard and Ailef part company with their teacher and strike out on their own.
710 - Richeard and Ailef help the Northumbrians repel a Pict invasion

722 - Richeard and Ailef fight with King Ine of Wessex as he tries and fails to conquer Cornwall. Disillusioned,
they leave the British Isles for northern Europe.

732 - Richeard and Ailef are at the Battle of Tours near Poitiers, France, fighting with the Frankish army of
    Charles Martel against the Moors.

740 - Richeard and Ailef fight with the Byzantines at the Battle of Akroinon in Anatolia against the Umayyad
    Arabs.

772 to 795 - Richeard and Ailef fight for the Duchy of Saxony against the Carolingian Empire of Charlemagne.
Realising the Saxons are facing defeat in a few short years and the futility of further bloodshed, Richeard and Ailef return to England.

At this point, Richeard comes to realise he can use his immortality to fight for the survival and eventual prosperity of his people. Ailef disagrees, wanting to abandon futile causes and instead use his skills and immortality to gather power and wealth for himself, bitter at the neverending mortal obsession with land and status. After 150 years of brotherhood of wine and sword, Richeard of Mercia and Ailef of Deira part on bad terms.

825 - Richeard is at the Battle of Ellandun as a commander in the army of Egbert of Wessex. He mentors Alfgar of Winchester who dies his first death in the battle. Alfgar, along with Richeard and Eadwulf, would go on to found the Secret Immortals Society.

838 - Richeard and Alfgar help Egbert of Wessex defeat the combined Danish and Cornish armies at the Battle
of Hingston Down in Cornwall. Ailef was there advising the Cornish as a mercenary. Furious at Richeard for finding another "blood brother" in Alfgar, they fight. Richeard defeats Ailef but spares his head in honour of their previous friendship. Ailef swears revenge.

Inconclusive fight between Richeard of Mercia and Ailef of Deira, aka Aldrich Monk, 838

840 - Ailef leaves England for Denmark and offers his services to the Norse king Horik I.

844 - Richeard and Alfgar fight for Beorthwulf of Mercia in his defeat of Merfyn Frych, King of Gwynedd at the Battle of Cetyll.

851 - Richeard and Alfgar fight with King Aethelwulf of Wessex in his defeat of the Danes at the Battle of Oakley. Richeard and Ailef fight again, but they are swept up in the battle and lose each other.

Inconclusive fight between Richeard of Mercia and Ailef of Deira, aka Aldrich Monk, 851

866 - Ailef is with the Danish forces that capture York and in 867 helps them defeat the Northumbrians.

869 - Richeard and Alfgar are both killed at the Battle of Hoxne in which the Danes defeat the East Anglians and kill King Edmund the Martyr. Richeard and Alfgar retreat south.

871 - Ailef, now a top commander in the Danish army, helps defeat the West Saxons at the Battle of Reading. He is then killed in battle at Ashdown as the Danes are beaten by King Aethelred of Wessex. Richeard and Alfgar are captains in the West Saxon army. Ailef fought Alfgar, but was shot down by a Saxon arrow.

Inconclusive fight between Alfgar of Winchester and Ailef of Deira, aka Aldrich Monk, 871

876 - Ailef helps the Danes capture southern Northumbria and found the Kingdom of York.

877 - As the Danes, including Ailef, capture Exeter, Richeard and Alfgar enter the service of Alfred the Great.

878 - Richeard and Alfgar are with Alfred the Great at the Battle of Edington in Wiltshire as he defeats the Danes and captures Chippenham. Ailef is with Guthrum as the Danes retreat to Cirencester and take control of East Anglia.

886 - Richeard and Alfgar join Alfred as he restores London to Mercia and signs a treaty with Guthrum, granting the territory between the Thames and the Tees to the Danes. Alfgar accepts a challenge from Ailef, but Richeard deliberately gets Alfgar drunk, so he oversleeps and misses the duel, afraid for his student's life against Ailef's superior swordsmanship.

893 - Richeard and Alfgar help an alliance of Anglo-Saxons and Welsh defeat a Viking army at the Battle of Buttington in Powys, Wales.

896 - Ailef joins the Danish army that leaves Wessex.

910 to 920 - Richeard and Alfgar help Edward the Elder, King of Wessex, son of Alfred, and his sister, Aethelfreid, conquer most of the Danelaw.

Okay, that's the first part of the origins of the SIS and the Hellfire Club/Brimstone. I'll continue the next chapter tomorrow, which will deal with Richeard's revelation that sees him decide to stop fighting on the battlefield but fight from the shadows, and Ailef's decision to abandon his birthname and become Aldrich Monk of Brimstone.

    Cheers

I could post them in regions if you want, but it might take a while for me to sort them out, since all my original chronicles were copied onto paper and i'm still sorting through them all, although i did type out a complete alphabetical list of Immortals a few years back when i originally compiled the chronicles. I have four file folders of written chronicles! Lol

Let me know what you need; alphabetical will be quicker, regional might take a little while.

No problem, my friend. It's gonna be a long list so i'll post in instalments if that's okay, most likely in alphabetical order.

Kashta of Nubia, known in Immortal circles and by ourselves as the "Son of Sudala", appears to all intents and purposes to be a respectable and successful businessman. And Kashta has his fingers in many pies, owning a quarter of all the bars, nightclubs and restaurants in Cairo. He is not involved in crime and all his business dealings are legitimate, but the city's underworld do not mess with this giant of a man. He exerts an authoritative and calming influence on the various factions vying for control of the city's seedier suburbs , accepting that a certain amount of illegall activity must exist in order to cater for Cairo's poor. However, Kashta won't tolerate any crimelord or crime that steps over his moral line. How many rapists, pedophiles or people traffickers have been fished out of the Nile in recent years? The giant Nubian has eyes and ears everywhere and watches over our city like some giant guardian of morality and protector of its citizens, and his connections in the cooridors of power ensure that no investigation has ever targeted Kashta the Nubian and never will.

The Sudani International Hotel Complex has become a mecca for royalty and the glitterati and a jewel in the crown of Morocco's tourist trade. Most of the crowned heads of Europe and the Middle East, presidents, prime ministers, Hollywood film stars, and billionnaire business tycoons have made Zahra Sudani's six-star hotel among the top five holiday destinations in the world. I wonder how many of them know that the stunningly beautiful young woman, described by Vogue magazine as one of the youngest and most successful of a new generation of Arab businesswomen, is actually the 3000-year-old Immortal Sit-Hathor-Iunet. She is one the oldest living female Immortals and the last remnant of ancient Egypt with Ya Nefer Ma'at. She is also the only known student of Nefertiri still alive, but unlike her teacher who couldn't let go of the past, Sit-Hathor-Iunet has adapted down through the centuries, kept a low profile in the Immortal community, fighting only when she had to, hence her low head count, and changing with the passing of time.

She hasn't been idle in her three millenia on this earth, having had over 2000 lovers, 37 husbands, and her latest partner, one of the richest men in the Middle East, who is aware of her immortality and loves her still. They are Africa's very own Bradd Pitt and Angelina Jolie, but have managed to keep the paparazzi at a distance and scrutiny at a minimum thanks to Zahra's centuries of expertise in the matter.

Zoraida has been hunting Xavier St. Cloud for centuries after the death of Hamza el-Kahir in 1656, this is a willful Immortal woman who wouldn’t leave the ghost of her teacher and mentor unavenged. In 1815 she nearly caught up to Xavier when he was in France with his student Morgan d’Estaing but only found Morgan to kill. She let him off the hook when she saw the pathertic specimen of immortality that he was - he certainly was no Xavier ! In 1992 she was in Paris, trailing the ancient Moor, but lot his trace when Duncan MacLeod severed his hand in combat and she lost him again. Finally in 1994, Xavier was killed by MacLeod and that meant MacLeod was possessed with the Quickening of Hamza and she wanted the memories of her lover very much. She confronted MacLeod and the Scotsman, who always had his way with women, introduced himself to Zoraida as a past disciple of Hamza himself and Zoraida didn’t have the heart to kill a line-brother, a disciple of her beloved.
MacLeod found solace in Zoraida, forgetting Tessa Noel for a time; and in the arms of MacLeod, Zoraida was briefly reunited with Hamza. Sometimes, there are love stories in the Game, not all onfrontations between Immortals end violently.

Halis is a tuareg living in Western Sahara, living off as tour guide for occidental tourists looking for new sensation in the immensity of the desert. Halis loves the place, the loneliness and the fact he is so much removed fromm the Game and its perils. It is a good life and, as the Arabs say, "the past flew away, the future is missing but the present is to be enjoyed". And Halis does. Everyday of his life.

    Ali Kouiret, 2007

    Update

Traditions identify a variety of different names for the three wise Magi who presented Jesus Christ and his parents with presents at the time of his birth. In the Western Christian church they have been commonly known as :
    • Melchior, a Persian scholar, identified as the late Melchior of Babylon.
    • Caspar, an Ethiopian scholar, identified as Sunda Kastagir
    • Balthazar, an Arabian scholar, identified as Alis Ag Emoctar

Encyclopædia Britannica states that "according to Western church tradition, Balthasar is often represented as a king of Arabia, Melchior as a king of Persia, and Gaspar as a king of India.“
These names apparently derive from a Greek manuscript probably composed in Alexandria around 500, and which has been translated into Latin with the title Excerpta Latina Barbari.

Qataban was one of the ancient Yemeni kingdoms which thrived in the Beihan valley (4th century BCE – 3rd century CE). Like the other Southern Arabian kingdoms, it gained great wealth from the trade of frankincense and myrrh incense, which were burned at altars. The capital of Qataban was named Timna and was located on the trade route which passed through the other kingdoms of Hadramaut, Saba and Ma'in; the immortal who became known as Balthazar was bon in the First Century before the birth of Christ and was mentored by Kellistra, at that time the wife of a merchant of frankincense. Nothing else is known of Kellistra's activites at that time, aside for her mentoring Balthazar who would later associate himself with Melchior of Babylon and Sunda Kastagir.

No one dares to mock her or to contest her, because this is a fierce woman with an ancient darkness in her good eye, the other one long lost and replaced with a glass eye. For centuries she fought others of her kind and never let her bad eye turn into a weakness. She fought like a demon, she loved the men she married, cried over her chidlren when they died, buried hundreds of loved one but never let the wildness of the Immortal Game impact her soul in a negative way. It gave her the strenght she needed and with that strengh became a better, stronger person. This day, I must close the Chronicle of my charge, the great poet Solomon ben Judah, who vanished two years ago in Damascus. For those past two years I have been relentlessly looking for him but to no avail. Solomon is missing, possibly killed facing one of the immortals living in Damascus circa 1851 : Farid al'Zafir, Iman Fasil, Isra of Algiers.
Solomon was an outstanding poet and writer in medieval Spain and was fortunate enought tot be mentored in poetry by Achilles of Troy himself who latter taught him swordsmanship when he was murdered by a jealous rival. During eight hundred years, Solomon illuminated the Middle East and Renaissance-era Europe with his poetry, how fortunate the mortals were to know such a poet ! And what greatness he gave to the world !
I live in the hope that Solomon didn't die against one of the Damascus immortals and that he is living peacefully somewhere away from the Game.

    Aaron bar Moshe, 1853

Solomon has finally re-appeared in Cairo, alive and well; congratulations go to Ankhanaten Rey's Watcher who spotted him talking to his assignment. The meeting took place in Cairo's medina no challenge was issued and no battle took place. We may now re-integrate Solomon on the Actice roster of immortals.

Tarif takes the Game liked a joke, especially since his teacher told him headhunters would come after him with big sword, and that with his left arm dead he wouldn't live out the decade. But Tarif doesn't care. All he wants is to live out until the age of ninety-nine like his grandfather, the most ancient of mortals in his tribe of Rushallah, and after this... it will have been a good life. So since he turned out 101 last January, Tarif, lives as an actor, moving from towns to towns, staying in relative obscurity and staying wary of strangers sending him "the buzz", the unmistakable presence of an immortal. When Sid'Ahmed Taya cornered him in Algers, Tarif tried to talk his way out of the confrontation as he usually did; the stage comedian was a success with an audience of mortals, even Sid'Ahmed laugh at his antics left the humorist in peace in a gesture of mercy.

Safiyah Khan envisons her immortality as a gift from Allah, a mission to clease the world of the "living dead", those gifted with life but who died and should have stayed dead. Her sword, she claims, is a gift from a sainted man who found her in the desert after her First Death, a man who taught her of the Game and that her life belonged to Allah, and that by living and playing the Game she was doing her will. That man was Farid al'Zafir ibn Muhunnad, a collector of swords and religious art who thought himself guided by Allah.
With her holy sword, Safiyah Khan took the lives of many immortals, travelling the world, from the Middle East to South-East Asia and for the past hundred years concentrating her efforts on South American territory.

To be added to the Chronicles of Safiyah Khan and Ya Nefer Ma’at

In Mumbai, Ya Nefer Ma'at was fighting Safiyah Khan. The battle between the two women was epic, the Indian Muslim against the Egyptian from Alexandria, the lover of immortal life against the God-driven fanatic. The battle proved to be Inconclusive as both immortals were of equal strenght, in the end the two fighters were both so exhausted that they called for a truce and decided to choose the following evening to finish their battle. Both women are liked in the Watcher community - Safiyah may be a remorseless killer, but she has class, a vision, she is practical and fair. This week we found out where she stands in the ongoing war.
The following evening, exactly twelve hours later, Khan and Ya Nefer Ma'at met again. Ya had been documented about Safiyah Khan and knew that this was no ordinary killer she was facing : a player of the Game who believed Allah gave her a purpose in life. Being Egyptian herself, Ya understood the fascination the ancient Egyptian gods could have on mortals and immortals : Horus the hawk-god, Anubis keeper of the dead, Osiris whose chief-priest Raan had been her teacher.
Ya tried to explain to Safiyah that whatever Memnet-Ra promised to her, he could never deliver : the ancient gods were long dead and forgotten, they could have no hold on anyone anymore. Allah's message to the Prophet Mohammet was a message of peace, neither of war, nor of hatred. What hold could he posibly have on her, she questioned.
Safiyah honestly answered : she ddn't care about the so-called Adversary, and felt she was above wars ruled by immortals with dellusions of grandeur. She fought in the name of Allah, and only to Allh would she give her life for he gave a purpose to the empty life she was living. She was going to take the head of Ya in His name, not for the sake of the war. Again the two women fought. This time, Ya Nefer Ma'at knew she had a death sentence on her head : if she lost the fight, Safiyah would show no mercy for she was too far gone. Safiyah's ferocity and speed knew no bounds : she had opened her heart in a moment of weakness, and she could afford no weakness.
With anger, precision and skill she landed the Egyptian woman on her knees and before Ya could say one word... the sword fell down. Ya Nefer Ma'at was dead, but Memnet-Ra's forces didn't score another victory. Safiyah Khan is a wild card through and through. But to Safiyah, the victory was hollow. After disposing of the body, Safiyah went to a shrine and was last seen in prayers, her Watcher lost her in the crowd of Mumbai

Okay, my friend. I think I've got Ayashe in my old lists, but i don't think i had Khonvum. I'll see what i can do and let you know.

In the meantime, I've got those Persian names for you from the 7th century, although i had to spread them out across Persia rather than just Hyrcania, there just weren't enough locations to believably have them come from. Is that okay?

    Diaexis of Bactra - male

    Hutaosa of Hulwan - female
    Parmys of Turan

    Hope these help!

I really like this new iteration of the Hellfire Club, a bunch of hedonistic Immortals more interested in wealth and power than being truly evil. And the SIS need an antagonist, a thorn in the side to keep them on their toes! Another great job, my friend.

Could you post the chronicles for the active and inactive Immortals of North Africa, please.

The Hellfire Club, an organisation of rich Immortals who have been a thorn in the SIS'side since the 17th century and are like a wet bar of soap : impossible to hold for long. Richeard and his group could never catch them in time and put a permanent end to their activites. Not exactly major villains, but still severe nuisances. Irritatign and frustrating, hedonistic, scheming, anti-patriotic, everything the SIS isn't! They even made friends with the SIS ennemies such as the Spanish Cabal, the Knights of Charlemagne and the Court of Beauties.

They dress up in Victorian-era clothing, are involved in racketeering, counter-inelligence, wanton acts of terrorism and also extortion. They don't mind murder too. They tend to target and kill, ridicule, harass important figures of the Londonian society. Everything that can annoy, piss off or endanger the SIS they do it! Their credo is: do what you want unto others, but don't get caught.. and don't lose your head!

    Watcher Bureau, London England

    TIMELINE

1659 : The Black Friars Club comes under the surveillance of the SIS as slave traders, also creatign a chain of monasteries and holy grounds in Great Britain housing all the Immortal criminals and madmen
1665 Black Plague in England brought by merchant ships captained by the Black Friars
1668: Bawdy House Riots took place following repression of a series of attacks against brothels; the Club had interests in most of those brothels and are behind those riots.
1689 : Black Friars Club is dissolved by the SIS as is their monasteries network; only one stands, to be purchased by Sena Burns for his Blck Friars Asylum project.
1690's : Help trigger several coups and rebellions agaisnt British Crown in Scotland and Ireland

1719: Spitalfields weavers rioted, attacking women wearing Indian clothing and then attempting to rescue their arrested comrades; the Black Friars are strongly suspected by the SIS who cannot prove anything (well...)
1735 : The Black Friars Club Immortals come back as the Hellfire Club with chess pieces monickers
1743 : The Club trigger the London Riots against Gin Taxes and other legislation to control the Gin Craze, principally the Gin Act 1736; rioting was fuelled by consumption of the drink itself in clandestine pubs held by the Club.
The Club's Black Bishop comes after one of the SIS, tries to kill him and loses his head.
1744-64: Durign those years when the SIS is buy elsewhere, the Hellfire Club grows i ninfluence over London, actively participating in the slave trade and financing the Carmatic War. They start creatign alliances within the House of Wigs and the Chambers of Lords, creating havoc and involving respectable dignitaries in scandals involving human sacrifices and sex with 12-years prostitutes.
1781 : The Hellfire Club manipulates members of the parliament so they increase concessions to Catholics, thus triggering more riots.
1790's Industrial Revolution; The Club opens factories where workers are worked to death in the name of profit.

1833 : SIS engineer Slavery Abbolishment Act and must fight the Hellfire Club's White Knight in a duel to the death.
1887 Bloody Sunday in Ireland, the Club triggers a riot protesting British coercion in Ireland
1888 : Kellistra orders all Londonian Immortals out of town for a decade. The SIS complies as does the Hellfire Club which relocate to America where they shape the New-York Victorian Hellfire Club for ten years.
1898 Back to London, are maintaining several brothels specializing in underage prostitution. The SIS' ladies come after the Club's black-hearted Black Rook and kill her.

1936: The Battle of Cable Street saw rioting against the Metropolitan Police as they attempted to facilitate a march by the British Union of Fascists well-supported by the Hellfire Club
1942-1945 : The Herllfire Club dispaears durign the Blitz, theri mansion/HQ bombed out. They are belived dead until 2017 when they re-appear.

    Notes:

This Hellfire Club is as far removed from the previous version of he Hellfire Club as once written, remember ? A small number of manipulated Immortal children and teens instead.
This is more in tune with the Hellfire Club from A Touch of Brimstone, the Avengers' classic episode which inspired Chris Claremont and Joyn Byrne's rendition of the Club.
And it is White King, Black King, White Bishop, Black Knight and White Rook, with colors being alternated.

Where the SIS are more or less heroes, the Club is made up of "anti-villains", they did truly bad things and were involved in the slave trade before it became illegal. They backed up the Brothers of the Coast piracy brotherhood I once referred to. They are to the SIS what Doctor Doom is the to the Fantastic Four, or Magneto and his Brotherhood is to the X-Men. A perfect foil not afraid to use foreign immortals - coming from countries exploited by the British Empire - against members of the SIS. Their troubles against the Immortal Republican Army and the Khond Brothers is due to manipulations from the Club.

And here are our three other antagonists.

The elements that helped him bring his theory was the presence of a gladius found next to a decapitated squeletton, but Amadou didn't share his theory on who the squeletton might have been when he had his head on his shoulders !

Zeina, child of war, discovered the violence of the Game after his First Death in East Uganda. When his teacher told him he would live forever as an agent of the Lord, Zeina thought he had been blessed and that he would fight for his God forever.
Then he discovered that wars and revolutions are not clear-cut, and that God wasn't on the side of his comrades, buth rather on the side of the money - or rather, those who had the money that paid for their weaponry and guerillas.
And after what he had endured as a child-soldier - the countless deaths, the rapes, the countless atrocities perpetrated by his superios - Zeina decided it was time for a change. After faling his death, he went to Liberia where he enlisted himself as a soldier, and then to Somalia, Sierra Leone, Rwanda, wherever there was war. Because war was the only thing he knew, shooting people the ony thing he felt good at.

This is quite an immortal, one who has been inspired by sportswoman Christianne Krause and who trains constantly, in case an immortals bent on killing would come after his head. If that immortal takes him down it won’t be easy : he is good at running, at jumping, at fighting and also taught himselfto outmaneuver other immortals. Forty years of living on the immortal scene turned him into an overachiever and there is no one who can bring his morale down.

Mtyela Kasanda once reigned as a warlord on the Great Lakes of Tanzania until he took out an Arab trader rivalling in power with him, a fellow Immortal, ancient and powerful. The Quickening reshaped Kasanda and turned him into a man of peace, or maybe the Arab’s psyche was too strong and it took over because now Kasanda is a devout Muslim Immortal iving in peace in his village, with his women and his cattle. He no loger reigns over people, isn’t cruel anymore. He is a man of peace. Who was this Immortal to change him so brutally ? Research is in motion to find the identity of that man, a Middle Eastern of Islamic religion.

Dina Katumba has been scouring the African continent for generations, from Timbouctou to Cape Town, from Cape Town, to Eritrea, from Eritrea to Congo, trying to convince her black brothers and sisters to lay down their sword in the name of peace, to end this madness brought by the white immortals. The black continent has been pillaged, raped, for centuries, its population enslaved and nearly destroyed, and now the immortals are victims of this self-imposed genocide. It is time to stop it. I am afraid the woman is delusionnal, paricularly in light of the death toll caused by the 'other Methos', another proponent of peace who left a trail of decapitated bodies behing him. Dina is trying to put an end to the Game, but so far she only managed to put an end to the lives of the immortals foolish enough to listen to her.

In a world now bereft of Sekou Nkrumah, Grace Chandel and Peter Gaicus, Madiour Diouf (aka Dinah Katumba) is now the sole representant of the immortal community if the medical world, as a nurse working for the Red Cross. She travels the world, helping the poor and suffering wherever she can, in spite of Ravenwood's warnings that other immortals may still be n the prowl for immortals like herself. She is way too valuable to the immortal word to let her own life endangered. However, this is a stubborn woman who won't let those considerations slow her down in her chosen mission : spend her immortal gift saving as many lives as possible.
Long may she live, but I wish she would spend more time on Holy Grounds and less taking risks by going in those war-torn countries she sets foot in.

Belying all appearances, Fumilayo and Olikuye Kuti from Eritrea aren't Beka Kuti's parents. It is Beka who is their foster mother, having found them as younglings in the Sultanate of Harar in Eritrea when the Arabs occupied the land. Hamza El-Kahir was the master of Beka, his indentured servant, and Beka already was a seasoned Immortal who pleaded with her master to keep the young boy and girls he found in an abandoned shrine. Hazma permitted so and thus was born the strangest trio of all : a 12 years old girl who was an old woman, fostering two children who grew in age, became an adult man and woman and treated Beka with deference, never forgetting who was hiding behind those eyes. Let that be a lesson to the Westerner Immortals who fell too easily prey to a con artist like Kenneth the Saxon. The Kuti family has been surviving against all odds and they do not need to cheat in the Game to do that.

Boimah was once taken as slave by Mtyela Kasanda and was tormented for years before he could escape with his life, until he could find a proper teacher to teach him how to survive in the Game? The man or woman’s identity isn’t known to us but what we know of is Boimah’s confrontation against Kasanda in 1902. At this time, Kasanda was a changed man, no loger the cruel warlord who enslaved, raped and killed mortals. He was a marabout, a village doctor who wanted only peace between men. He had a hard time convincing Bimah of the truth and then Boimah assisted him during a storm in deliverign a vilage woman’s first child and he understood when he was Kasanda’s love gleaming in those once cruel eyes. No one can fake this.
Bouimah left the Immortal to his new life, neither friend, nor ennemy, returning to the Tabora plains of Tanzania. There are a lot of tales like that one in Immortality : Kage, Darius, once evil men who changed for the better. So why not an evil killer like Mtyele Kasana ?

Research in the earlier chronicles of Ya Nefer Ma'at, allowed to pinpoint a disciple of hers in 1700, after the fire that ravaged Gondar, capital city of Ethiopia. Ma'at took in the young librarian of Gondar and disclosed to her the secret of the immortal world, but never amanged to turn her into a player of the Game.
Fanta Damba loved old books, scrolls, doing research and the chronicles of immortal beings became her passion, making her a true Watcher historian among the immortals until her death in 1980.

She may no longer call herself Rodis but her love for hunting and nature is still the same. She learned from her father, who taught her to hunt to help feed the family. Not long after she became the villages best hunter.Over time she began to hunt not for food but for pleasure. Pitting her skills against new and different animals. She made quite a bit of money supplying the Roman Coliseum with new and exotic animals to kill. Around the end of the nineteenth century she resettled in Africa as the wife of a coffee plantation owner. When money was scarce she hired herself out as a safari guide. Most were quite amused at the novelty of a woman hunter, but it didn’t take long for them to appreciate her outdoor skills and knowledge. The last fifty years has seen quite a change in her though, instead of hunting animals with a bow and arrow she now uses a camera. After watching the extinction of several species she now puts her energies towards preserving them. Any poachers stupid enough to hunt on her land end up running for their lives.
